Review: Baroness

Rosie and Lilly are young, rich, beautiful, and anxious for the freedom to taste all that the Roaring Twenties has to offer.  Unfortunately, each girl is burdened with heavy family expectations.  Will either girl find the strength to strike out on her own and become the woman she wants to be?

In Baroness (Summerside Press, 2012), Susan May Warren spins a tale that you cannot put down.  Roaring Twenties New York and Paris are so lovingly detailed that you'll find yourself longing to be a flapper.  Rosie and Lilly are characters that reminded me of my own rebellious youth.  And, the plot kept me guessing right up until the end.  Baroness is a must read.

Expected to marry well and to take the reins of the family empire, they have their lives planned out for them. But following their dreams -- from avant garde France, to Broadway, to the skies in the world of barnstormers and wing-walkers -- will take all their courage.  And if they find love, will they choose freedom or happily ever after?

Rich Empires.lol
Now that's real fiction.
Empires are dwindling at an alarming rate.
The soaps are the same. They show such rich people having so much time to get into trouble and yet not being able to solve one simple life problem without something bad happening.
How do they get rich then with such simple minds?
Guess thats entertainment.lol
